A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel based in Shanghai. The role is to provide legal support on M&A deals in China.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized PRC law school with qualifications to practice law in China. An overseas law degree from a recognized foreign law school such as an LLM or LLB would be a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a multinational in-house legal department plus in a law firm.
- Excellent English and Chinese language skills, both verbal and written.
- Be able to work independently, proactively, and in a self-directed manner.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and to cope with stress, and maintain a professional, pleasant, and cooperative temperament with business partners.
- Excellent research, negotiation, and analytical skills.
